Search your community newspaper for past winners
Your local newspaper is a treasure map to finding local scholarships. In the fall and spring scholarship organizations announce their winners, and your community newspaper often prints their names. Go through back issues or search the newspaper articles online (search for the words “scholarship” and “scholarship winner”) to find announcements of last year’s winners. (more…)
